South Dakota’s Florists Association 2011 Convention will be held March 18, 19 and 20 in Pierre, SD. The theme for this year’s convention will be Vegas Showstoppers.

SDFA appreciates your support and we realize without you, our programs would not exist. The following features have been successful in the past and we could like to continue.

Registration packets are made up for all members who attend. If you would like to place a gift or coupons to be used in your booth in these packets it would be greatly appreciated. The packets will be made up on Friday.

Infomercials will be held on Saturday between 10:00am and 2:00pm. Each vendor will have a 15 minute time slot to showcase their wares.

Blue Light Special will be held on Sunday from 3-4pm. You may choose to sell a certain product at a discount at that time. We encourage you to bring merchandise to sell on a cash and carry basis.

Wheeler Dealer Coupons: Vendors will have coupons provided by SDFA to give to their customers. The SDFA member will then enter their coupon for a drawing at 4:00pm on Sunday. We ask you as a vendor to donate one prize. The prize should be priced between $25 and $100 and be something useful to a florist. Please wrap your gift and it will be featured in a booth at the Trade Fair.

A Social Mixer is scheduled for Friday night in the Trade Fair area. It is customary that SDFA members and vendors dress to fit the theme of the convention which is Vegas Showstoppers.

Free lunch will be served in the Trade Fair Area on Sunday.
